Conventional Railway Line Project

IRMAK-KARABÜK-ZONGULDAK (IKZ) RAILWAY REHABILITATION AND SIGNALIZATION PROJECT IS A PROJECT WHICH COMPLETELY CONFORMS TO THE EUROPEAN STANDARDS AND WHICH HAS INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE. All of the lines was renewed with 49E1 rails. The command and control center was founded in Karabük. The 477 km long line was rehabilitated in modern railway standards. Rehabilitation was made in totally 55 tunnels and 118 railway bridges. Automatic protection system installations were made in 253 level crossings and passenger information and communication system installations were made in 32 stations. Signalization and communication system installations were made according to 120 km speed per hour according to the European Railway Traffic Management System (ERTMS) and the European Train Control System (ETCS Level 1). The content of the project consists of stations, engineering buildings and tunnel rehabilitation along the line in addition to the infrastructure and superstructure rehabilitation. Moreover, the assembly of the telecommunication and signalization systems and energy procurement in compliance with the European Standards are also within the scope of the project.
